Kayaking in the Fall

Both Roger (resort guest) and I went out in the Kayaks to enjoy the Fall colors on the calm quiet Stocking Lake.

Wonderful treat!

Our guests from Frazee came up for their annual visit to Sleeping Fawn and even brought us a bottle of wine....Thanks Ladies!

Big Bass!

Andrew of Omaha NE, caught and released this 20 1/8" Largemouth Bass! Andrew was fishing out of the peddle boat and said it was quite a challenge to bring in but had a blast doing it.

Brothers Ron and Roger hit the lake the other night, I tagged along hoping to land a few myself, sadly I caught two but unsucessful to get them to the boat. Both Ron and Roger had big grins on their faces after a great night of casting.

One Largemouth Bass!

Stanley of Tabor,Iowa landed this beauty...A 20" Largemouth Bass.

Stanley informed me he caught two at that size and had his best bass fishing season over the many years coming up.

The traditional Hagen family and friends raft wars! I somehow get talked into this event....hmm, was great fun...I won but still have yet to get the photo to place on here to prove it?!?!

volleyball fun

The Hagens family and friends of Hanley Falls MN camp here every July 4th week....They enjoy a many rounds of volleyball, I was able to play a few select games.
