I am volunteering last minute here at the Sioux Falls Sportsman and vacation show at the arena. If you are in area swing on by and say hi!

I cleaned up the driveway finally. It should melt fast this week with temps hitting the 40's

Update from Ellen (mom)

I phoned Ellen at the resort to find out the snow status. She said approx 8" fell on Sunday the 26th of Feb. and no snow fell in Park Rapids the following Wednesday but in surrounding areas, lots of snow fell.
That's the latest scoop to report. I will be back to resort on Monday.

Hmm, my vacation is done....

I had been away for a week to enjoy my long awaited vacation. It was sad to return to a bunch of snow. I guess it is reality.
Now on to resort projects with Spring right around the corner!
I will keep you posted.

Just started snowing.

St Cloud Sportsman Show visit

Our good friends and guests of Sleeping Fawn Resort stopped by to check out the show and to also say "hi" -thank you for that.
My friend Tom assisted me in the booth as the other volunteer had to back out.

The show was very busy and had a record attendance on Saturday. We ran out of literature by 2:00pm Sunday and had to rely on a sign up sheet.

I will be in St Cloud MN this Friday to Sunday volunteering at the Park Rapids Chamber of Commerce booth.

new website counting down.....

The Sleeping Fawn Resort website is currently in transition of a new look, This should roll out Tuesday Jan 31st.

Look for updates to site like links to facebook, a photo link and a link to my blog!
Also will have a google map of directions and a testimonial page you can submit in.
The website will be smart phone friendly as well.

I will be updating this blog weekly to keep you to par to whats happening at the Fawn.

We look forward to launch day, hope you are too!
